Kat Jacobsen

Art Director / Photographer

Kat was Julie’s graphic design instructor at the International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago, IL. Though they had lost touch over the years, Kat & Miles and Julie & Jason inexplicably got married on the exact same day at historical sister schools Kemper Center and DeKoven Center, effectively blocking the other couple from booking the opposite venue. Julie’s colors were red, and Kat wore a red gown! Those coincidences are quirky and so is their friendship. They both love The Beatles and Badfinger, and enjoy critiquing graphic design and trends together on Facebook.

Kat is currently the Creative Director at PrecariCorps and Professor of Communication Arts & Media at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. She fights for adjunct professors rights and loves teaching. She’s extremely supportive and knows how to motivate her students. She’s incredibly good at what she does and Lovenote Creative is grateful for having her as an advisor to our team. And since she can say it best, here is her bio from her website:
